Discover how to work with this extremely versatile but delicious medium. If you have ever wondered how to temper chocolate and make truffles, this is the course for you. In this three and a half hour class we will introduce you to chocolate, some quick and easy methods of tempering both chocolate and ganaches (fillings). On this day course you will learn:
- Easy and quick methods of tempering chocolate.
- How to test if chocolate is in temper before doing anything with it and troubleshoot if its not.
- Making and tempering ganches
- Making and dipping truffles
We will not focus too heavily on the science of chocolate but is a practical-focused session in a small group of 4.
